HumanWorldAVbank is designed and administered by Gilles Reboux and Thierry Billardon, free-lance workers serving a network of members and Production Partners. The free access to the results of their documentation, writing and classification skills allows members to execute appropriate research based on several expectations: Definition of themes and focus pages, summaries of films in English and French, analysis of films contents for their classification, writing of teaching advice for certain films to be used for educational purposes and other attachments to facilitate the usage of these videos as well as training sessions and advice.
Their work also includes the digital treatment and storage of these videos to make them available online.

Your subscription as individual member of this HumanWorldAVbank network will allow you to download full screen video files (mostly in MPEG4 or DivX quality). You'll therefore contribute to our work in favour of the education for sustainable development and to our efforts for a wider usage of audiovisual tools in this educational process .

At last, your subscription will help to protect the audiovisual heritage owned by our Production Partners and will encourage them to distribute their videos more widely.

Important remark : These rates and conditions might be changed without prior notice at any time. Members and Partners of the HumanWorldAVbank network are therefore responsible to keep them updated about these potential changes. The date below published online on www.HumanWorldAVbank.net is the attestation of the latest validity of this document.

1) Conditions for the exploitation of your subscription
A subscription can not be reimbursed if you don't exploit it. The playing capacities of your computer as well as the installation of the needed codecs to view our video files remains under your entire responsibility (see our suggestions in our «downloading advice»). In case of failure of our online services, we will propose a free extension of the subscribed time or a reimbursement in proportion of the time spent before the failure. The total number of downloads available during the chosen period of subscription will follow our data entry evolution and will depend on the availabilities of videos from our Production Partners .

2) General conditions for a backup copy of your download(s)
The creation of a backup copy of each film downloaded is allowed on only one support: DVD, Cdrom, tape, 2 nd hard drive, USB key, etc. The sale or the rent of this backup copy is strictly forbidden. Any other reproduction or distribution is equally forbidden. If you wish to obtain several DVDs of a given video, please contact us by email. HumanWorldAVbank won't endorse any responsibility if this condition is not respected and the subscriber will be exposed to juridical pursuits from the copyright owners.

3) Conditions for a collective usage of downloaded videos

3a / Not all films in our database are available for this collective usage. If this is mentioned in the summary of a given title, each subscriber is responsible to respect this restriction.

3b / When the collective usage is authorized, it is only for the purpose of public projections* with a free access and for educational, training and awareness creation objectives, or projections held by non-profit organizations. * A commercial projection will be subject to a special agreement with our Production Partners, please contact us. HumanWorldAVbank won't endorse any responsibility if this condition is not respected and the subscriber will be exposed to juridical pursuits from the copyright owners. .

4) Intellectual property about the downloaded films and all contents of HumanWorldAVbank website
HumanWorldAVbank is not the copyright owner of the videos stored in its database. Each of our Production Partners, as an institutional member of our network, makes this copyright available to other members under the conditions above. Partners needing to recover some of their production or distribution costs will earn a percentage of all subscriptions used to download their title(s).

Our Production Partners keep the full responsibility on the content of their films.

The presentation and classification of their films is the creation of free-lance workers who write and administer HumanWorldAVbank , these texts and programs can't be reproduced without a written agreement from their authors.

5) Protection of your personal data
According to French laws, HumanWorldAVbank is engaged not to communicate to a third party any of the personal data entered by its subscribers. Those members may nevertheless choose to receive by email the regular information proposed by the HumanWorldAVbank network.
