Why this video database?

This site has been created to help you saving hours of navigation on the Web!

If you look for audiovisual resources on sustainable development, the environment, health, human rights and many other key issues, our powerful classification system added to our multiple partnerships with independent or institutional producers are here to serve your research of  completed film or raw footage.

Our database is grouping for you productions from independent authors, humanitarian NGOs  (or those acting for sustainable development) as well as from national or international institutions. On a long term basis, this will be a contribution to the preservation of an audiovisual heritage about main challenges that our humanity has to face. .

While participating in this database development, our Production Partners accept that their videos could be shown in public (if free access) for educational purposes or for non-commercial information. This is crucial for teachers and other persons working for an education about development or about international solidarity since they all need to illustrate their training or advocacy sessions.

Present resources in our two catalogues (completed films and raw footage) don't cover all themes and all countries, some of your expectations will not be fulfilled! We count on your spirit of solidarity to make known that this effort of classification and mutual sharing is useful to your  initiatives: If you find the adequate resources elsewhere, please propose to the relevant producers or distributors to ask us to catalogue them.

Last but not least, certain institutions use our classification tool to better archive their raw footage and to increase its usage.

I hope that our database will be more complete every month, don't hesitate to come back regularly for checking our research tool!
