SUMMARY:
A sheltered beach in North Trinidad, a handful of villagers and an endangered giant turtle. In 1991, a small group of villagers, seeing that the giant leatherback turtle which has come nesting on their beach from times immemorial becomes an endangered species, decide to fight for its survival. After six years of struggle with the authorities, not only did they enlist the government's help but their remote paradise became a protected zone. The discovery of how these men ensure that the turtles continue nesting on their beach.
